If you’re planning a citrus themed wedding, your guests are in for a real treat – it’s a delight for the senses. Make this theme customized to your own personal taste by choosing one or more citrus fruits you love, or simply working with the bright colors that these juicy jewels offer. A few combos that look stunning? Lemon and Lime, Lemon and Orange, or Orange and Lime. Or, change it up a little bit by accenting your chosen hue with crisp white, black, or your favorite shade of aqua.

Having a citrus themed wedding can be quite cost-effective – especially if you use actual fruit as part of your décor! Vases or bowls filled with citrus fruit make stunning centerpieces, and you can be a hands-on bride by making your own from grocery store finds. One fashionable way to include citrus fruit in your centerpiece is to cut the fruit into slices, and then line the inside of a short, square vase with the “wheels” of the fruit. Fill the vase with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers (hydrangeas look divine) and voila: you’ve got yourself some stunning centerpieces!
If you love the colors that citrus fruit offer but aren’t a fan of using the actual fruit on your big day, simply go ahead with those lovely shades of green, yellow, or orange.
